Writing the novel of life in this space for evaluation - wow, isn't that a way to an instant good time? Hey, I'm Becky, just started grad school this fall in hopes of entertaining dreams of life beyond the secretarial pool of broken dreams (one of the few places which exist for people who foolishly chose to major in music for undergrad!). I play piano very well and do so on a regular basis, using improv as my main source of expression. This activity takes away the need for therapy in my life, along with regular journaling and exercise. I can definitely tell if I've not spent time doing those things. What I'm saying through this is that I'm pretty well-balanced. I think that through jumping off the cliff of stability into the unknown of grad school, I've taken giant steps in confronting my fears. And that's good, seeing as how fear, as I have known it, is the quick way to emotional and spiritual paralysis. Life is meant to be lived while we have it. Waiting for the "perfect" anything to come along so that one can live one's dream is a sure way to lead a boring life. But you really want to get to know me because I'm fun, sweet, cute, and love companionship on all sorts of levels - emotional/spiritual/physical. Because you want someone who will wake you up at odd hours of the night/morning wanting some. Because you might be tired, too, of entertaining the thought of spending the rest of your life in solitary pursuit of joy.
My Ideal Person:
Who I'm looking for? Someone who is interested in growing and changing with me. You don't have to be like me at all, but I ask for openness in the people who I choose to spend time with. So if you're conservative, it's not such a big deal as long as you're interested in open dialogue. And if you enjoy talking more than you enjoy watching TV, rock on. Thinking about silly things, about spiritual things, etc. Enjoying snuggling/cuddling/whatever else along those lines also rates high in my book. I'm a touchy-feely person. If you have a heart, a soul, a body, and are aware of all three of those things, we'll probably have an excellent time! I'm looking for ultimately a serious relationship, though starting off as friends first will help to build a more solid foundation. I'm looking for more of a best-friend-type that I can love and be with than an Adonis-type to worship. I love one God already, don't need another one.
The last great book I read I love the Harry Potter series, especially now that it's getting grittier. Umm. I have an unlikely predisposition for L.M. Montgomery novels and short stories, as well as stories involving ordinary human beings in extraordinary situations.
My most humbling moment To see and hold my adorable niece, Abby, for the first time.
Favorite on-screen sex scene Awww, just one?
The best or worst lie you've ever told: Heh. That's not for you to know. :-)
If I could be anywhere right now I'd either be right here doing what I'm doing (I feel like I've been blessed) or would be enjoying beautiful, languid sunsets on PEI, along the shore with my best friend/lover with our small stone cottage in the distance.
Five items I can't live without toothpaste, journal, piano, exercise, sleep
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. Tension is sexy; laughter is sexier!
In my bedroom one will find... too many clothes, books, and some stuff that I surely won't mention 'til we're on more intimate terms.
