I recently moved to LA from NYC so am adjusting to space and driving a car again. I've always loved California but miss cabs and the corner store that you could walk to for everything.
I've spent the past 6 years practicing as a midwife in Queens and the Bronx. I decided to become a midwife (it's a frequently asked question) when I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Mauritania, West Africa.
I've DJ'd many a late night at lounges, clubs, and parties in NYC and SF, but now play only the occasional gig (most recently Fiji on NYE) I play dark progressive, late night, no vocals, mostly vinyl. But I love all kinds of music.
I'm in LA for the summer and if all goes as planed I'll be here for a while. I love living in new places and traveling so am open to exploring most parts of the world. I spent the winter in Australia and New Zealand.
I'm laid back, independent, and good company. And I'm excited to check out LA. I'd love a good dinner, a martini or a night of great music. I'm ready...
